The GISTs are rare tumours but even rarer is the localization in some districts. We reported two GISTs of the duodenum, two of the omentum and peritoneum, one of the rectum and one of a Meckel's diverticulum.
These exceptional locations are confirmed by the relative difficult diagnosis, obtained in some cases only by the surgical treatment despite the CT and MR. The endoscopy is useful in hemorrhagic and duodenum forms, only for the diagnosis and for the control of blood loss.
Surgical treatment in all cases was decisive without the need to make use of adjuvant therapy, with positive long-term results, which excluded the disappearance of relapses or secondary lesions.
