Towards an increasingly international Journal

“Il Giornale di Chirurgia - Journal of Surgery” is a peer-reviewed, open access, on-line journal on all aspects of surgery. Published since 1979, starting from 2011 “Il Giornale di Chirurgia - Journal of Surgery” is fully in English language, and publishes original articles, reviews, meta-analyses, case reports, technical notes, letters and editorials.

As of October 31st 2012 “Il Giornale di Chirurgia - Journal of Surgery” recorded 611.205 visits from 21.691 different users. Of these, over 50% came from outside Italy, as detailed below.
